I lost some sleep over this…. I had a couple giant prints in my show this October, and a family friend really liked one, but she didn’t want it so large. I said I would gladly print a smaller one. The large one was pretty expensive to print, so it was priced appropriately. I quoted her some prices on smaller prints, kind of based on increments from the big one. She chose a size and I had a series printed. Not only did it cost way less than I thought, per poster, but I realized that in comparison with people like Debbie Carlos (whose range of prints I adore) the price was probably a little high.
So the check is written, and now I’m nervous to put the lower price online for fear that my first customer will see it.. But it’s gotta come down sometime! Thoughts?
